Tommorow can't come fast enough...review of my new pouches!

Well....let's just say I am excited.

I got some pictures a while back from Micheal de'Buslingthorpe of some pouches I ordered from him when he was offering his pouches deal. I also ordered a bottle as well for my lady wife. You see, she is a member of my 14th C company and Esquire to Sir Vitus and thus she has undertaken a quest to be as period as possible (the one foot rule). To help her, I got her a pouch and costrel so she can carry her fighter paperwork in, and have a period container for her water at the battlefield. This was to be part of her 10 year anniversary gift (along with a new set of arms and spaulders).
They come tomorrow according to USPS tracking, but I can't wait.

I know they will rock from just looking at the pics. We got the full boat options for them. There was a slight delay due to Micheal needing to rely on getting the furniture from other vendors, and I was specific in what I wanted so we had to wait. Needless to say, at this point, Micheal was great at keeping me in the loop and letting me know about every single delay. I was never in the dark about several long delays. None of which were to do with Micheal. I wish all my deals were like this.
Now, he also put up with me. I am a crazy beeatch. I forget all kinds of stuff because of a closed head injury from jousting in 1993. He was gracious and understanding when I would forget to send things to him he asked for like colors, belt tip types when we had to switch and just forgetting I ordered them....haha...well not that bad. I am a demanding (but loyal) customer. Once you earn my buisness, I stick with your shops. I will buy all my pouches and costrels from him now, and recommend my household and freinds do the same. With his buisness ethic he deserves my customer loyalty and has it. A+
Now...I got a white pouch based off of several period examples, most notably the Annunciation Triptych by Robert Campin ca. 1425 in the Metropolitan Museum of Art with rose fittings in silver. My lady got the same in red with seahorse fittings in brass(her charge is a seahorse). The pics look incredible he sent as they were in progress. I will post additional pictures, including her costrel when they arrive tomorrow.

Thank you Michael for undertaking this commission for our pouches. You were fantastic the whole time, and I can't wait to get the box tomorrow!!!

I'm glad you're so pleased with our relationship so far- I have to say you've been a joy to work with as well.

But PLEASE reserve final judgement until you have the stuff in hand and can examine it. I know where the flaws are, you see!
