I just need two smaller pieces of riveted maille to hang from the bottom of my greaves to cover up the mundanity of my boots, maybe say 5" x 4" (unless anyone with experience doing this has covered the top of a size 10 boot?) roughly?
Mild is fine, stainless is wonderful.

Would you consider welded mail instead? I've got plenty of pieces that size in 5/32" ID stainless. I can also do 5/16" in titanium.
