Magyar styled bow by Kassai Lajos for sale (attached pics)

Post by MWeiland »

Hey everyone. New guy here, first post.

For anyone who might be interested, i'm selling a 'Magyar Sport' model bow with about a 43lb draw weight. I bought it from www.horsebows.com.

I got it a few years ago when i was planning to get into SCA archery but never found the time. The bow was fired 4 times in one session then my work schedule changed and i never picked it up again. It's been sitting (unstrung) on a shelf ever since.

I have 1 string and a cloth case for it but you might want to pick up a new string.

It was about $400 new but to be honest, i have no idea what to ask for it now. If anyone would like to make an offer or even just toss out an idea of what it might be worth, feel free.

PM me with any questions.

Thanks in advance.[/img]

These are excellent beginner's bows: they're not heavily-recurved, but that can be an advantage as a defense against limb twist by folks who are inexperienced stringing.
