Could you give me a better idea of what you are trying to convey with "When one, mighty'?

Regarding Determination brings victory:
"Determination" is one of those words that will mess you up in a word engine. The results of determination will give you - consilium, definito and ludicium, which are all variations on determing a result or outcome sort of in the sense of "we determined the party was Thursday, not Friday" or "the determination was the rash wasn't serious".
For determination, as you are meaning ; in perseverance and resolute in objective; you can use constantia or animi firmitas (firmness of mind).
