What Helmet is this depicting?

Post by MJBlazek »

I kee seeing early 15th century french miniatures which seems to be depicting a "Frogmouth" helm. I thought those came along much later.

If so, what is this depicting?

ahh YES! Why didn't I think of that. If you follow the miniatures it seems the helmet was fairly popular in Farnce around this time frame, for both hose and foot combat. How common was it in reality?
