Armour in the terracotta warriors exhibit

This week, I visited the Terracotta Warriors exhibit at the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco. This is a pretty small, traveling exhibit with several of the life-size figures from the tomb of China's First Emperor, Qin Shihuang, who died in 210 BC. There was some really interesting lamellar armour, made of limestone plates laced with copper:

(Too heavy for a human, probably, but just fine for a figure in a grave!)
