One of the guys over on The Arbelest Guild http://thearbalistguild.forumotion.com/ ... bows#12160 has linked to an interesting early 15th c. manuscript. It's 168 openings of illustrations. Most of the pages have a caption, but otherwise there is no text.

There are tons of nice manuscripts now on the e-codices website.
I have their app on my phone and download one or two before each time before I head out on one of my multi week business trip s to China. It make long plane rides, flight delays, ferry rides, etc much less annoying.

I have kept this particular manuscript on my phone for a while.
Lots of neat contraptions.
