This is a website article on shoes (and other leather goods) found mostly intact in Kempten (Allgäu), Germany. The leather goods date back almost 500 years. The pictures alone are worth reading the article (pictures and shown in links).

Thanks Aaron,

This is cool stuff, I wonder in the first picture, if that large object is a sleeve or part of a lederhosen? This would be interesting as there is some argument about if people wore leather clothing a lot or not in the 16th century.
