Nice museum webpage

Post by Raymund »

I've made another webfind in a foreign language... It's the catalogue of an old exhibition at the German Historical Museum in Berlin, simply called "Armour" which is still on their webpage with nice pictures and data on several interesting pieces of armour and weapons, and also a lot of medieval art.
Check out (in german): http://www.dhm.de/ausstellungen/eisenkleider/start.htm

And also from their own collection (in english):

Yeah, not a bad web collection eh? I found those pages a few months back. So far it seems to be the only museum which shows any great deal of their important pieces on the web.

There's what looks like a klapvisor on this page. Is there a full image of this one? The only other extant klap I've seen is the Smitten helm, so I'm excited to see this one.
