Help Locating Book

Post by Stacy Elliott »

All,

Ok, this is a test of how great this site is. Please do not let me down.

I was at King Gerhardt's house last night as they were packing for DoubleWars. On his coffee table was a book.. Here is it's description.

Thin paperback. about 10mm thick
On the cover was a man in later period garb.
Price on Cover was in Pounds and Dollars. I believe the price was $22.00.
The book started from 11cent. and progressed thru the ages.
The book was absolutely spot on in what I know is period.
One picture inparticular had 2 men standing facing eachother. On the left was a man in a Bascinet holding a Great Helm with a Horned Torse on a Great helm. He had a Yellow Dagged outer garment with Fleurs on it. His leg armor, if he had any was covered with heavy blue fabric but had small metal plates on the knees, full greaves.
The man on the right had a Bascinet, and was holding a Great Helm too. He had a Multiple panel Breastplate, full legs and Greaves.

This book was very inspiring.

However, since it was 1AM, I failed to write down the ISBN or even then name of the book..

So, with all of you out there I know someone will recognized the book..

All,

Raymond, that is the book.. I got it ordered.

The test took less than 1.25 hours.... Man I like this site.

Now if it only was a true archive with a search feature like the good old days.
