I have been compiling this list for some time now, and am now finally getting it posted. I only have around half the list up so far with many collections still to be added. If anyone has any thoughts or comments on information I am lacking or possible improvements feel free to email me. I hope this list helps some one out. I know I wish I had been able to access a list like this on my previous trips. http://www.thadenarmory.com/museums.htm

A great idea, please keep it up.
A few nits.
I bet that Coburg is not in Warwick castle (minor address boo boo).
I would mention the covered breastplate, german g. gauntlets and Maximillan in the Bayerisches.
The Bargello has more than some weapons - a great pair of 14th. c hourglass gauntlets, barbute, other stuff. Small, but good collection.
Stibbert - large collection. Mostly 16th c. but also includes some composed earlier stuff as well as eastern, textiles, etc.
Italy - Mantova - has a collection of the 15th c. armour found there. It is in the museum of the catholic dioces (sp wrong...). A great, small collection.
Ameria Real Di torino is the turin collection. Mostly 16th c. reasonable, but not great collection.
Castle San Angelo in rome has a few pieces including a 14th c. gauntlet, barbute and barrel helm.
Toss in the Museum of London in England. Mainly non-armour but lots of good antiquities including medieval knives, shoes, artifacts.
Need to add Austria. At least Vienna and Gratz. Vienna has not only the Waffensammlung, but also the stadt Wien museum (city museum with some of the best early german armour in existence) and an army museum with lots of 17th c. stuff.
That is off the top of my head....
Overall, great - I should link it.....

Wade, Thanks for the input. If you (or anyone else) have any of the missing addresses or other info on the gaps I have, I would appreciate the help. I still have many countries and collections listed to add (close to 90 total). It will probably be next week before I can get the rest updated to my site.

Thanks to those that have thus far contributed. I think I have placed all the information I have available for the museum up on my site. Feel free to pass along any additional information that I may be missing so that others may benefit. Http://www.thadenarmory.com/museums.htm
