Medieval weapons-can anyone recommend a good reference book?

Post by Guest »

HI all!

Im in the market for a reference book on medieval weapons, and i was hoping someone here could point me to one of the really good ones. What i need is something thats similar to Arms and Armor of the Medieval Knight(Edge & Paddock), but that's focused on weapons in general, not just those of the knightly classes. Time period im mostly interested in is 1000-1600, with an emphasis on the 14th/15th centuries. Region is Europe in general, but if theres anything out there that goes into detail on the weapons used in the HRE i'd really like to know about it.

Thanks everyone! Image
