Heh, yup, it was an eleventh-hour project, though. I want to thank you, T-Bob, for the idea on how to attach the chausses (I think it was you...). I made a leather drawstring pouch that encloses the entire top edge of the maille leg. Through this is passed a leather drawstring, both ends of which come out the front point of the leg, and tie off to a special belt. It works very well.
The maille still needs to be tailored a bit better, though - it is not a bit restrictive in some spots.
Next project is to add feet.
