NG Channel "Secrets of the Vikings"
I thought this was about 200 times better then the History Channel's much-touted Barbarian series. Lots of cool technical informationand equipment testing.Living history people seem to be doing all the re-creations as well (I think I recognized a couple of people from "Vikings Re-Created in Colour Photographs).
I love National Geographic Specials.
Check it out if you haven't.

Normally those channels run stuff in loops so try back in 4 or 5 hours (at least this normally works on the TLC/Discovery, ect)
unless of course the 3pm was the second time it was shown today

It is a very good show, IMHO. I liked how they looked into the actual making of Viking weaponry, as well as testing Norse armour, weapons, shields, clothing and ships. I think it is most well researched show I've seen on the Norsemen, period.
