A simple question on the Churburg Segmented Breastplate

Post by Templar Bob/De Tyre »

All:

Does anyone know what the inscription on the brass strips of the Churburg segmented breastplate is? I'm looking for the information to replicate the Latin phrase on another piece of armour. As I recall, the phrase translates to, "Jesus, walking through the midst of them, went on his way".

Thanks in advance,

From the Vulgate:

[Iesus] ipse autem transiens per medium illorum ibat
