Hi, I am looking for images of Sir John Montacute d.1389 effigy. I have one line art drawing that doesnt really satisfy my want of detail. I am especially intersted in his plaque belt, it is the only plaque belt I have seen tied off in this fashion, all others seem to have a hidden connection behind one of the plaques. Th torso armour looks kinda interesting too, I'm guessing it is a jupon over breastplate, not sure. Any info and pictures much appreciated. My net searches didnt bring up anything useful. Thanks.

Really? Five minutes on Google researching a subject I know nothing about says this effigy is GONE -- didn't survive Henry VIII's dissolution.

1. Searched image.google.com for
"John Montacute" -- First image was on a page explaining that the Earl of Salisbury's remains were removed to Bisham by his wife's request to Henry V.
2. Searched same for Bisham Priory, and got the linked page.
