My lady in considering armour (which mean fighting!!!) and I would love her to take the field lookin as sexy in her armour as possible (while maintaining period correctness, of course.)
I want to show this to her as an option (she loves the leather look)... :):)
Also, if anyone else has other pictures that I may show her that would be most excellent as well.

I am doin my best. She said somethign last night about it, so we talked a little (we had just finished watching LOTR trilogy) and anytime she wants to talk about it, I encourage it. So I brought up leather being accurate for a range or periods and locales... So, I am now looking for specifics that I can find that will appeal to her.... and something like those arms (though not in white) really do.
Besides... once I get her out there, in addition to having the eye candy on the field - I think she will kick ass....she is too stubborn not to.

Those arms that you showed are a reproduction of early 14th century, English. That style and splinted legs / arms were very popular in Spain and Italy in the 14th - early 15th centuries. Tooled leather cuirasses were also popular in that time period.
I have Chris's article, I will be bringing it with me in January....a long time to wait, but hey, the article is absolutely awsome.
