The Armour Research Society (x-post)

Post by Uilleag »

Greetings all!

I have been a member of the ARS for about a week now and I can't speak enough about it. As many of you know, I am gaining interest in authentic cuir bouilli armours, (hardened leather). Just two days ago, I enetered a request for aid in researching this elusive topic and I have already recieved several responses.

All of these responses have been to information that I didn't already have through my own research.

This is definately a worth while endeavor to find remarkable research assistance. As the Society grows, and more armourers contribute to the information available it will only get better.

Here is a link to the site. Membership information can be found on this link. http://www.armourresearchsociety.org/

I highly recommend it!

There is very good information here on the Arcive, but the Directors of the Society have put together something truly unique. There are very good forums for all sorts of research and the Society is all research oriented. Any armourer that is remotely interested in furthering thier knowldge into the craft of armouring really should check out this site.
