The Armour Archive

I am interested in constructing a hewing shield or two, such as those in the Gladiatoria. If anyone has any good suggestions or knows of anywhere on the net that shows hewing shields, please let me know. Much thanks.

I have been told there is an existing hewing shield(s?) in the British Museum.
