Negroli Pics...or Greco-Revival

Post by MJBlazek »

Hey all,

I have a friend in my group that really wants to do a Greek-looking kit. The only problem is that its waaaay to early for the time period we do, and he wants to try and mish-mash it with a later style English.

Now I remember seeing a picture of Negroli Burgonet that looks very influenced on a Greek Helmet. I was thinking maybee some good pictures of reel armor could get him on the right track for something accurate.

I know its fairly late for most people on this board, but does anybody have any pics of the Greco-Roman revival style armor, or any other Negroli pictures?

Thanks in advance!

Theres a GREAT book about Negroli armour that I own. it's got really good color pics, and lots of info on each peice. heres the link to the book:

http://www.amazon.com/Heroic-Armor-Ital ... F8&s=books

about $70.00 but if you look hard you'll find it cheap. I got mine for around $30.00

Also check out the Mets website. (metropolitan museum of art in NYC)

Hope this helps,
