Anyone have any good examples of Jack chains??? I am thinking about maybe putting a kit together with a nice padded jack, kettle hat, and jack chains......would like any pics and references you have....thanks.

Funny, because one 15thc picture has all of that

Martyrdom of St Ursula, by Hans Memling.

It has a pic of men in jacks, one with jack chains and one with a kettle hat.

the kettle hat I refer to is the one being worn by the archer, left hand panel.

There are other images of all of those things but this is an extremely good rendering because Memling was the dog's nuts.

Me too....I am thinking if I can find a pattern I like that I can knock some out shortly.

GDFB (get dressed for battle) in the UK has them on their web site for under $100 US, but they've been 'out of stock' going on 6 months.
