Medieval & Renaissance Treasures from the V & A Muse
A few weeks ago I saw this exhibition at the Speed Art Museum in Louisville, KY. If it is going to be near you I would recommend going to see it.
I think its next stop is at the Met.

Re: Medieval & Renaissance Treasures from the V & A
It's going to be at the Met starting May 20, then the High Museum of Art in Atlanta starting September 13.
See http://www.vam.ac.uk/exhibitions/tourin ... index.html for more info.
(Also, http://larsdatter.com/wordpress/?cat=3 is where I post news & links about museum exhibits that are opening up.)

A bunch of us folk from the Barony of the Flame (Nonna, Bianca, AEric, Tinker, and myself) went to go see it when it first got here. Alot of nice pieces. I particularly liked the Angelo Saxon broaches.
I got a few pics before I was told I couldn't take any.
If you look closely at one of the ivory tryptychs, you'll see a guy being attacked by his dinner. There is a crab hanging off of his eyebrow.
