Im not sure I buy the 'the sheep was buried at a later date" theory but only because I cant think of a single time Ive seen a farm animal buried instead of just being drug to the hollar

I sang in front of the pope, and the abbott never called me Brother Sean with the gorgeous voice
and I illuminated a gospel sent to the bishop in Dublin and the abbott never called me brother Sean who does the beautifull illuminations
and I carved a cross in front of the church that has people coming for two days walk to worship here, and the abbott never called me Brother Sean the artist...
But let the old bastard catch me kneeling behind a ewe just once and
Sweat in the tiltyard, or bleed on the field.
