While it is cool, it would be a lot more useful with attributions under the photos as to when and where the tools date to.
I think the earliers toolchest I saw dated to either the late 16th, or early 17th century, and I am leaning toward the latter - but to somebody who stumbles across the site on the net, they have a ton of pretty pictures with no information about the various tools in the virtual museum.

I tend to agree.
Ive been researching axes and wood felling/hewing/working tools and its very difficult finding a comprehensive site showing a really detailed the evolution of tools. And if you come across an old tool (there are originals floating around and the owners dont know what they have...I just nabbed a nice 17th century axe for 30 bucks)
