Medieval and Early Modern Sources of Southampton

In a previous thread I made mention of the Southampton Record Series. It began in the early 1900s as the Southampton Record Society with the task to publish documents from the city archives as well as material on related topics. It is now run between the University and the City government with the same purpose. While the series covers all Southampton's history most of it is medieval and early modern period works.

Look under published volumes for the books offered. The inventories, port and brokage books have loads of interesting material culture.
Currently the previous volumes are on discounted costs (£5 each) from the current volume (£15 indvdl) so if any are of interest it would be a good time to purchase them.
