Maxim,

You would have to be selling this blackened 14th cent helm while I still owe you $500 for the Rene style helm. You arn't making it easy to resist. Does it fit my head casting?

Alas, this helmet is small will be on your head. :(
But I can make exact the same helmet, ideally suited to your head. ;)

Offer to wholesalers! When you buy 3 items - 10% free, four or five - 15% free, more than five things - 20% free.

I'm still hoping to see an "artist's conception" of the kettle hat as an SCA legal version.

How would you set it up?

Hi Mr Suprovitch, when I look at your armor Im amazed by the shapes and crisp lines you achieve, Espesially in 14g stainless?? That is incredible, I dont even like shaping 18g stainless!

Do you work the stainless hot or cold? Are you in any of the pics?

Im really having troubly not buying one of your klap bascinets or the bellows face sallet. I would like to be able to see your armor first hand.

Keep up the great work.

All the best

It's better this way. I need to make the last payment on the great bascinet first and I would rather you finish that for me then to start a new helm. Besides I have been thinking about a mid 15th cent kettle hat raised in all period construction techniques. We can talk details after the GB is done.

Pitbull: Not certain what Maxims exact technique is but it definetly involves heat to get the shape. Cold work just can not achieve the right shape. If you ask nicely he may post in-progress pics of his work on my new helm. It has some of the sexiest shape and crispest lines I've ever seen. :)

Alright man, I like most of your stuff. But why ON EARTH are the chin sections so huge and jutting out? It really detracts (in my opinion) from the helms, doesn't look historically accurate, and detracts from their effectiveness (in SCA fighting) b/c they stick out so far.

So what's the deal?

To be honest I can not say why so many of my things so long in sale. :(

Alas,as I live and work in Ukraine, payment orders a bit more complicated than in Western Europe or in the USA. Also people do not always trust.

I have absolutely no sense to cheat someone - it will destroy my reputation and I can not sell anything. Therefore, I am working transparently and often make concessions for customers...

Whats the Padding like on the inside of that helmet? I have 24" head and didn't know if it could be changed around to accommodate that. Also can you give me a total weight on it as well?

Just for the record, Maxim is extremely good and very fast. If I didn't already have a great helmet from him (that I love), I'd spend the next month eating dirt to get my hands on one! Heck, I'm having trouble NOT buying right now (I'd certainly be the best-looking guy at the homeless shelter).

Also, he's good about working with you for custom elements (like a WMA perforated bevor, in my case).

Five stars, friends, five stars.
