The Schedule is set.

the information is as follows.

I would like all members of the Chivalry, List persons and Field Heralds who would like to volunteer to help, to arrive around 3:15

The tourney will begin promtly at 4.

Once again here are the guidelines for participation:

This is a Tourney for Novice fighters.

All authorized weapons forms will be allowed.
Standard SCA conventions will apply,
The format will be determined on the day of the Tourney depending on the number of fighters that show up.
Appearance will be considered.
Please show your best.
Ladies of the Rose are Highly encouraged to attend and will be included in part of the judging.

Please cross post this to ANY and ALL mailing lists across the Known World .
If you wish to assist in this tourney in any way please contact me directly via email or through this forum.

Oh I am exicted!!! I love any reason to put on armour(ugly as mine may be). I will do my utmost to be there and fight in this. I have already driven my Lady mad talking about it. And now that the date is up, I am working out the timeline for my arrival around it.
I must again say how cool it is to have a turnement just for us newbies....

Great to hear.

If any one knows or is a herald or would like to help out running a list or helping with the list table or inspections... please show up about 30 minutes before the tourney starts

If I can gather enough courage and if my elbow is healthy enough, then I'll try be there. I've never been in a tournament even though I've been authorized for a little over a year now--tournaments scar me.

If I do fight I'll be using a polearm, so it should be interesting to see how I fair against what I would imagine are going to be mostly sword and shield fighters.

I am very glad you are doing this tourney Your Grace.

I just wanted to say thank you for all of the effort that went into making this tourney happen. I was able to meet alot of the new fighters around the known world and even some in my own Kingdom that I never met. I was hoping that there were pics out there, so if you have any let me know thanks,

Well, thank you very much Malcom for your kind words. And yes I did come back early, I had a great time at War, but I was missing my kids too much.

Thank you your Grace for speaking to my King on my behalf in this matter. Though it is but a small thing compare to what many have accomplished this war. I was very proud to represent my Kingdom, my barony, and especially my King in this tourney.

In Service to the Crown,

William Thomas
