Beautiful! And the armour isn't bad, either.
I was wondering if the two of you would have exploded due to some unknown law of nature not allowing that much talent to occupy such a small amount of space at the same time. Guess you guys made it through OK.
Excellent work! I love the petite and tight lines. Very smooth!

No, no, the ARS conference would have been when that happened.Brian W. Rainey wrote:I was wondering if the two of you would have exploded due to some unknown law of nature not allowing that much talent to occupy such a small amount of space at the same time. Guess you guys made it through OK.
It's up to you now.

Heh! It's 18ga 6061-0 (aluminum) It's quicker to work and actors love it 'cause they're whimps when it comes to weight.
I had a great time working with Patrick, at times we'd be working on separate elements for the suit and when we'd put them together they'd fit almost perfectly.
I can't wait to do it again!

I don't know whats worse. That you accomplished that in 4 1/2 days or that you had week to spend with someone that beautiful and you spent it in the SHOP! Please tell me you at least treated her to a nice dinner out.
The original sketch work seems to indicate large angel-wing pauldrons but on the finished piece they are much smaller. Why the design shift? Also. in the final back view there appears to be a dark finger-width gap between front and rear plates. is that actually there or is it a trick of the lighting?
Thanks for sharing,
Sean

Thanks everyone, the actress only came in for fittings and hung around only so long as we needed her to check and fit things, she was very pleasant and non stop smiles. The sketches Ugo did were just that sketches and concepts, we followed it as close as we felt like while trying to get this done quickly, the customer was not so picky and we didn't really follow his inital sketches at all, he knew we'd give him somthing nice to put this lady in The gapping on the sides wasn't more than a 1/4" max as I recall, though your right it does appear to be more, I'll look at it when she next puts it on. I'll try and run over and use the scale at the post office see what it all weighs, I'm betting not more than 10-12lbs though. Patrick

I should really stop by your shop more often.
But then you would have had to worry about
the drool rusting things. And of course my girlfriend
killing me and making the floor all bloody.
Nice work by the way.

Smashing work you two!! You really kept to her figure quite nicely. And the curvature on the breast and backplates flow so smoothly from neck to waist with her form. It looks like she is wearing a fitted dress.
You guys are definitly masters at this craft. Thank you for sharing.
