Otto's Armoury Special Sale

Post by Otto »

OK, I'm in a hurt... gotta make the rent or me and my kids move... to where I dunno.

So, bearing that in mind... it the Otto's Armoury Special Sale!

Barrel Helms (bargrill or eyeslot) $60
Spaulders $25
Gorgets $15
Elbows $15
(sorry, I gotta keep the prices on the basket hilts and shield baskets the same due to material costs)
Celtic Helms $125
Norse Helms $150
Crusader Pot Helms $175
Anything else I make similarly discounted.
This sale will only run until I've got enough to cover the immediate need.

Plan on it taking about a month to get your order as I've got a few in the works already.

It's a good chance to get some new armour on the cheap and to help out a struggling family in the bargain.

Thank you

Let's see... payment types

1) mail a money order to my home address

2) use a credit or debit card through paypal

Stainless spaulders? Sure, but I'm gonna charge $50 for the stainless ones.

I 'think' I asked you this a while back.

Would you do a kettlehelm?

I do really need to update my site a bit.

Nowadays I do the norse helms with a more accurate and more appealing 2 piece occular/nasal like what I do for Mike at Stonekeep. It's much more historically accurate and I think it looks nicer as well.

Normally I'd brass overlay the nasal and occular on a norse for $25... if you wanted the brass strip over the top, I think I'd charge $20 for that.

On the kettle helm... I've already got one on the list... and it's a first. Until I've proven the design, it'd be best if I didn't take orders for helms I'm not comfortable with.

Posted this to the shire's list. Hopefully that'll get you a few sales.

Just a note to you savy shoppers, the sale will end once I've got the funds to cover the emergency... so figure it's only gonna run about a week.

My archive mailbox keeps filling up, so if you can't get me there, send an e-mail to me at sbvast@yahoo.com

Otto, what are the size of your shield bosses? Like how wide and deep is the hollow area? I might be wanting one from you.

Thanks.

Total diameter of the shield bosses is 9 inches... there is a 1 inch flange all the way around making the center dished area 7 inches in diameter. The central dished area goes to a depth of about 2 inches.
