My fighting Vlog

Post by Arminius »

I've been keeping a Vlog (Video Log) of my fighting (and some top end fighters at events I go to) since I joined the SCA 2.5years ago. I have found video to be an awesome learning tool, especially for breaking down body mechanics, mistakes, and lessons sometimes missed during the fighting.

Some cool things have happened since I started posting my videos. I've made some friends I wouldn't of known. I've been given advice, criticism and support from people all across the world. New people have messaged me wanting to get involved, and I've been able to direct them to a local group. During times I've been frustrated and upset with my fighting, I've been able to look back at the video and show myself that I really am improving.

I've decided to share this with you because of my passion for fighting, and the SCA. For minimal time invested you can enrich your learning, fighting, and enjoyment of the SCA. With the advent of Web 2.0 user generated content we truly are a global village. By simply posting your fight video online you can reap the benefits of an entire world of fighters.

1 sentance summary: Post your video online its worth the effort
I will find a way or I will make one.
