FS: Blackened Mild Riveted Shirt @ Pennsic

Post by Corby de la Flamme »

Ok, don't get TOO excited.

Really, I MAY be selling this shirt at the war.

This is from what I think was Von Sussen's first year selling riveted stuff.

I have a 42" chest before gambeson and it is roomy on me. It's mid-thigh on my 6'3" frame. Short sleeves are PLENTY big for anybody who fits in the body. I've added a drawstring at the neck.

I forget how much it weighs. Not bad, a LOT lighter than butted.

It has a touch of rust right down the front under my chin.

I don't wear it enough to keep it, and I'm shopping for something similar but lighter. At pennsic, you get to try it on before deciding if you want it! Wear something you don't mind getting greasy. Also, no shipping!

I'm in Vair and Ermine camp, N18, on Battle Road, or on the practice field most every day first week and a half when the weather is good. Please don't try to chat me up about it 30 minutes before a war point if I'm in armor.

Private in person sale only, and we can negotiate price based on what mail is going for at the war this year. I have no idea what is fair, but I know I wore this about 6 times and paid about $500 for it. Yes, I know it isn't worth that. Prices crashed the next year, yay for my timing!
