Iron Dwarf,
It might be. What is your target market, Public or participants?
There are a fair few public through over the course of the event, and some 100+ participants at the event.
Drop me an email, and I can give you all the information you will need.

Remember that Britain is not large, and that London, Bristol, and Birmingham are all within 3 hours.
I was about to say -- in 2007 I drove out from London. It was an easy drive, though I'm a little inured to travel since I moved FROM the UK to NM. :) I wouldn't worry about flying to Cardiff.

Finally my pictures from Raglan Fair 2009 are up
http://www.flickr.com/photos/lord_edric ... 694157449/
I do also have a few that I took at Hampton Court
http://www.flickr.com/photos/lord_edric ... 869989010/
Not sure if I can make Raglan this year since it is overlapping with mediveal week in Wisby.

This year will be my first trip to Rhaglan, and my first major event with the SCA. Unfortunately, it'll also be my last event with my shire for three years while I attend university
On the plus side, my chosen university is in Wales, so Rhaglan will be easy to attend, and I hope to find a new shire in Mynydd Gwyn, should they be so kind as to take me

Qwerty,
Are you Going to Cardiff? Mynydd Gwyn will be delighted to have you. They're good people.
Cyrano, Are you in Ireland? If so, You've hooked up with Mike Prendergast I hope?

The hope is to go to Lampeter. I've sent a couple of emails, but got no reply, I guess they're old addresses. If possible, I'd like to see if there are any SCAdians at the university there, who might want to do a travel rota to save on cash.
Of course, this all depends on results
Back on the Rhaglan track, I'm hoping to have lots of shiny new armour by the time I go

Life has been quite the whirlwind so I am awaiting that moment until I am settled upon The Emerald Isle.
Any suggested for armourers on our side of the world? I need to update my gear for the event as well.

That depends on how convincingly they stack the haybales.

The Best Raglan so Far.
Photos are begining to emerge, and here are a few to start with..
Where I was Camping,
in the first Tourney of the Fair,
The Tennans of the Tower.
(We held a Pas d'Armes at night, in the inner keep)
Prince William, (Sir Liam MacBrennan) Thomas of Monmouth, Robert de Canterbury, and Gillette of York.
And of course the ever Popular Bridge Battle,

Curses, no money to go this year.
Maybe next.
As Duncan Forbes put it so well, I was made redundant.
Looks like a splendid time was had by all.
Oh to play in a real castle.
On the plus side, it does give me that much more time to get my kit into Raglan Fair worth shape.

Hi Edricus,
We were in the same spot. I'm told we were being referred to as "the Posh Camp"
Tom has a bunch of photos on his facebook page,
