Wow, too bad my funds are going else where right now and it is a tad too small. Is it based on an original?

Raised in 1 piece I assume? From a disk not a welded cone?

Could I get a true front, side and top view?

I really like this helm and am looking for something similar. In the Rene De Anjou manuscript, the non-fighters surrounding the list field wear similar hats with a peaked brim and the very top has a back-facing 'nipple' for lack of a better word. I think that this nipple is left-over from raising the helm from a welded cone. That is pure speculation and I am not skilled enough to build it myself as an experiment. Could you do one with a back-facing nipple like that? either from a disk or a cone? I can try to provide pictures.

Thanks,
Sean

P.S. for those of us in America at todays exchange rate:
470 Euros = 685.11900 U.S. dollars Which is a fantastic price!

Hi Sean,

I'm sure Stanislav can make this. He made these hats for me and my girlfriend:

It's almost the model you see featured in d'Anjou's Book of the Tournament. Also, Stanislav is a great guy to work with! The helmet he posted above is lovely!

Beautiful work on both helms! I'm headed to Switzerland in 6+/-months and want to find a 15th cent LH group to work with, possibly even Company of Saint George. Once I know their authenticity standards I will be ordering a helmet to fit. I have loved your work for years.
