It turned out pretty good. It's more like a light short sword- a big guy like him could even get an edgeblow kill if he gives it everything he's got.

Scabbard is next.

It's epoxy-coated wood. Light and should be able to take the occasional whack.

It's plenty short-long for that Grecian/Roman style of swordplay.
