Images needed, back of Bashford Dean Corrazina in Met, xpost

Post by Sean Powell »

Hello,

I know that the Corrazina in the Met that was re-assembled by Bashford Dean is a frankenstein and that quite a bit of it dosn't match with known artwork... but does anyone have any information or preferably pictures ofhow Dean assembled it's back? I've seen a number of reconstructions of the suit but no way to determine if the reconstructions are faithful to the first resonstruction or are purely speculative.

Any info would be appreciated. I have cross posted this to Design and Construction as well.

Thanks,
Sean

last I saw it displayed was back in a little niche - no rear view available. Maybe the museum has something if you contacted them.

Talbot had one from the 80's. It's posted in the Design and Construction forum. Looks like a kludge to me.
