I know some companies in USA sell these kind of Gambesons at retail prices upto USD 250.00 / EA excluding shipping. but this product is directly from a manufacturing house so You can really save the money.

either you knocked off a us retailer or your the guys who are selling them the stuff wholesale. I just figured you were the wholesaler. I also assumed you sidestepped the normal whole sale retail distribution chain and took the product direct to the people. So which is it - you knocked off a US product, or - your sidestepping the normal retail process and taking product right to the public?

We are going direct to the public for our products so that we sell more keeping our prices well blow the market so that the customers do not pay to the middle man while buying directly from Manufacturer.

well since your willing to cut out the middle man i would like to order a pair of the viking shoes size 11 and i'm willing to pay the shipping but i dont want to pay your retail price - you have stated your willing to sell for a reduced rate, so lets negotiate - my opening bid is 22$ plus shipping for one pair. if this acceptable to you PM me the TT info and i'll execute the transfer today.

these are the ones pictured here http://forums.armourarchive.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=112119

please give CIF price and not just FOB- Thanks! :)

I'll offer the same $22 for the viking shoes in a size 8.5

I agree with Adric -- either you are selling direct to consumer or you are selling to dealers. If you are doing what you claim you are, then your reduced rate should be to the consumer as well.

If you want the shoes for $22 a pair, then buy the 10 pair he is asking.

I don't really see your issue here. All he has done is posted the prices for "bulk" orders so that people can take advantage. Unless your issue is with what he is selling? Ie, that the gambesons and shoes are extremely similar to the same as existing US merchants who are selling products from overseas?

its a negotiaon - he stated hes making money at 22$/+ and is willing to cut out the middle man and go straight to the consumer. im a consumer, im willing and ready to buy his product, im offering his asking price at a smaller volume than he offered - he either needs to get me to bump my volume or lower his price. or raise my price or up my volume...

as it stands between me and jestyr he has 2 sold for 22/+ shipping - he either needs 8 more, or find a price we like. if you want in we are at 3 :D

Irish, it's called bargaining, and it's a lot of fun. More fun in person, but the internet will do as well.

I'm not interested in the Viking boots you guys want, but I'd give $20 plus shipping for a pair of the Medieval ankle boots in size 11.

I have no problem with any "manufacturer" selling to both the consumer and to vendors. It is quite common, actually.

However, how he chose to go about it was wrong.

By suggesting that he was "cutting out the middle man", then he chose not to sell to vendors. But that is not the case, as he is offering vendor/bulk pricing.

Heck, had he offered the rates he was and then said, "discounts to qualified vendors available" he would have covered his bases. Or even, "We can arrange for a group by for AA members at a substantial discount". Never would the middle man have been discussed.

As it stands, he is using some questionable business practices that left me feeling uneasy. So when I saw what Adric posted, I realized I was not the only one who felt uneasy.

So, what Adric is really suggesting is a bulk purchase by AA members using the vendors pre-established bulk discount prices. I want in on the bulk purchase. I see no reason why Westland cannot handle such an order, and no reason why the AA cannot come up with enough orders to qualify for the minimum.

Come on it. The water's fine.

Oh, and I'll also offer $100 for a red or white gambeson in size small (after confining measurements, of course).

Heck, for twenty bucks, I'll gladly take a gamble on a pair of Medieval ankle boots, laced, in either 10.5 or 11.

Not me, not again, not with shoes. :(

WAAAAY to much problem with sizing the last time I spearheaded a shoe order. The quality was excellent on the shoes ordered, but there was to much of a sizing variance for me to do it again.

Do you have sizings for the gambesons? Does a XXL really fit a XXL person? I may be interested in jumping in on the gambeson depending and I would be in for 2 pairs of the boots (1 size 6 and 1 size 10). Thanks.

did you order from the same guy?

AND - i have no intention of spearheading anything. he can ship to individual addresses - the volume will just come from the group.
