Review: Revival Enterprises shoes.

Post by Amanda M »

I have a couple reviews to post but I thought I'd get this one out of the way. Saturday the hubby and I swung by Revival's boots after my mission to find rivets on our way out of merchant's row. After hearing they had shoes his size (and by size I mean 15's!) we stopped so he could try some on. Long story short we both picked up a pair of shoes.

He got a pair of earlier period shoes with the seams on the outside because his feet are shaped weird and the Jorvik boots even in his size didn't fit right. The outside seamed shoes I guess have a little more play in them so if you have weird feet they might work for you.
I got a pair of the 14th century low boots.

We wore them around that night and it didn't take long for them to become comfy so we were both able to wear ours around for the remainder of the war without uncomfy feet. And the leather soles were slippery at first but scuffed enough to not fall on my ass when climbing the berm from hell by sunday afternoon.

So if you're in the market for shoes Revival is a good choice. I'm really happy with my purchase and will probably have to pick up a second pair later so I can turn the ones I have now into fighting sabaton shoes.

Both pairs were $79.95, even the hubby's canoes. I'd probably spend that much on just leather trying to figure out how to make them myself.
