Is the leather treated in any way? I am thinking of dyeing them myself, but if the leather won't be able to take dye, then I would have to pass.

He wants to know if he can dye them himself.

My understanding is that the answer to that question is yes . . . I haven't actually tried it with the pairs I have in my possession, but they seem untreated.

i like the decorated better.
