What happened to that guy?

Duke Maelgwyn chose to close his armory for a variety of reasons, including an increasing backlog of work owed to folks. He's currently working on finishing the commissions he had outstanding, and selling off his remaining stock.

I'm trying to find the announcement he posted to the Outlands list, but without a search function, it's slow going.

I have his email address, should you need to contact him. PM me if you need it.

Greg announced some time ago he was closing his shop down. Looks like the website is gone now as well.

Damn...I was hoping to pick up a sword basket and shield boss from him at Gulf.

Anyone else sell weight similar to Baldar's plastic stuff but in metal (some non-rusting metal)?

Maelgwyn is still selling helmets, you'd have to contact him directly I believe to get one.
I'd recommended his armor to anyone, anytime. He's one of the good guys.
Yep, I got nuthin'...

our 15ga stainless hilts will be at gulf wars and only weigh a pound and a half. not quite as light as those plastic things but they arent gigantic, wont cave in and crush the back of your hand, look very sexy, and they arent plastic. they really are pretty light and ive found that a lot of my elbow issues over the years have been, in part, from using a light aluminum hilt causing me to overstress the tendons in my right elbow. ive found that a slightly heavier hilt has caused a great decrease in pain.

we will have our aluminum hilts in stock in the next 90 days or less and weigh around one pound one ounce. so only about seven ounces less. stop by and take a look at our stainless one and see if you like it. i will be sharing a booth with icefalcon at gulf wars so we should be pretty easy to find. we will also have our new, improved, wood grain spears there as well. and, of course, all of the other top quality stuff that you can expect from icefalcon armory.

we expect to sell out of all of our stainless hilts at gulf wars so you always have the option of paying for one in advance to pick up at gulf wars. just email me first so i can give you instructions on how to order without paying the shipping fees.

regards
logan

Ebonwoulfe Armory is fully stocked with spears again! For now the only way to order them is to send an email to ebonwoulfearmory@gmail.com with the quantity and your shipping address. We will send a PayPal invoice in response including your shipping cost.

Yep, he's still doing armour, mostly helmets I believe, and putting out a fair amount of work!
Now on Facebook at RJB Ironworks!
