You know the really remarkable thing about this list is that the women are such good ones.

I can't think of a single person on the list that I wouldn't love to have as queen.

Ummm,

I meant "Any woman" not "any person.

I would be a little squicked out if Arngrim was my queen.

You mean when I all of a sudden reveal my feminine side?

Hey, I have the hair ;-)

But in all honesty, Pamela as king would be the real shocker don't you think?

But imagine the look on Morgan's face

If I'm not entirely wrong, the title "Pan" in Polish would translate to "Lord", correct me if I'm wrong.

kind of
poland marched to its own drum when it came to rank and title
had a version of a representative democracy
didnt really have traditional knights and lords per say

warder zygmunt would know better
but i am pretty sure the title was meant for representatives
which were the knight/lords of poland

Sir Ulfr is looking good, I think, but otherwise it's a pretty open field. We'll find out, soon enough.

Allright King ThorvaldR. Since you asked me, I will provide some input and see how well I fare.

2-1 Viscount Sir Ulfr Blodfotur Fallgrson
Ulfr is a solid fighter, and when he hits you it is not a light shot. Good placement of shots and good in setting up the fight.

5-1 Sir Vitus Polonius
Vitus has been in more Crown finals than anyone else. I do not know why he does not deliver in the final round.

10-1 Viscount Arngrim Bjornsson
Arngrim is a good fighter, but has not been much in Crown level tournaments. He has a good practice where he is at, but I believe that he will become nervous as the day goes on. Has recently swapped to heavier armour and round shield, which may hinder him some as I do not believe he will be fully used to it yet.

20-1 Baron Mikael Carhu
Mikael strikes hard, but is somewhat predictable in his techniques and shows when he is about to throw a shot. Until that improves he will not make it. Would make a fantastic King though I believe.

20-1 Lord Macarius of Novgorod
Macarius is a good fighter and deadly with a polearm. I believe he has swapped to Sword and shield for this tourney though.

30-1 Baron Dafydd Myfyrgar
While Dafydd would be a fun and interesting ruler, I doubt he stands much of a chance to advance to the finals.

40-1 Lord Mikael Rantzow
Small chance of winning, but could surprise the field if he has a really good day.

100-1 Herr Thorsteinn gullsmitr Ragnarsson
I havent heard of this gentle before.

100-1 Lord Kotkankallion Knut
I havent heard of this gentle before.

Yes, I believe they have. I believe myself and Duke Sven were sitting next to them stealing the vodka. :D

Macarius will be fighting with the pole. Which changes your odds somewhat.

Yes. I think I would put him at 15-1 with the pole.

Pan Vitus Polonius had the honour of granting victory to Sir Ulfr Blodfotur Fallgrson, who has this day won title and acclamation for his Inspiration, Viscountess Caoimhe ingen Domnaille.

I got the finalists right. ^^

And what are you w00ting for? Dont you realise this means you have to come to Pennsic and work hard for the King? Off course, the D-wald camp may have drinks, humor, good company..and rumor has it there might be a frozen margerita mixer in camp and a beer refrigerator. :D

Oh no, it is such a hardship that I "have to" come to Pennsic. What will I ever do with myself. :)

Of course what I actually meant was I will travel any distance and endure any hardship in order to provide service for my honoured knight. If I have to go to Pennsic I am prepared to make that sacrifice.

It was a good hard fought tourney. HRH Ulfr had an outstanding showing and Sir Vitus Polonious was as always a chivalrous and stout opponent in the finals.
