Wow, that article is almost 10 years old.

I suspect many people would approve of combat archers dropping behind their ranks if included a broken pelvis.

He also had archers lying under tarps covered in dirt while horsemen raced past their positions.

The SCA might not have horses in the field battles, but I still don't want to be hiding there when the entire East Kingdom goes marching past (over) me.
