This replica helmet Barrón de Casson. This helmet was in vogue long (about 1470-1480 years). In many samples of such a geometry there are pairs of small holes around the helmet - a helmet to cover the cloth.

I've never seen a helmet covered in velvet before but it looks damn good!
Is the velvet sown on like a liner, or glued on? Just wondering...

I don't think it's an issue of want.

I really like this helmet. The problem for me is that I would need to build a whole kit around it.

I'm sorry that's just too fabulous for me.
Love the work that went into it, but could I get it in a green?
I'd have to follow up with black velvet for my B&B That would look pretty sharp...

1.5 mm seems a bit thin for SCA purposes, Lufu.

1.5mm is just under 16g SWG, Lufu.
