"Customer" Service Review: Grimald's Leatherworks

Post by Halfdan »

I put "customer" in quotes because I haven't bought anything from them yet.

I'd never heard of these cats before seeing their booth at GW this year. I had a size questions about their 1/2 gaunts, the shop owner wan't there to answer them, but the assistant took town my email and I was emailed by the assistant the Tues after GW (yesterday) and got a follow up from the owner, Grimald, today. The emails were friendly and did not try to pressure me into buying something.

Based on the quality of the armour I examined at GW and the prompt email response to my inquiry, I would say that Grimald's is probably a good place to look to for one's leather armour needs.

I have known Grim for years, owned pieces of his armor. He has sat in my kitchen teaching leather working to all comers. Great craftsman and his beautiful lady makes wonderful clothing. Top notch stuff from both of them.
