Heres links to my personal great helm and bascinet combo. Great helm is 12 and 10g, three piece design unlike the more typically reproduced 5piece ones. Bascinet is raised from a welded cone in 18g mild. Avantail is from HE. Depending on your budget I can do welded or raised bascinet, 3 or 5piece great helm, historic liners, and crest.

BUMP

PM sent to Knitebee and to Ice

maybe I should be more specific Here so I dont have to repeat myself in PMs.

I am looking to comission a Great Helm and Bascinet combo.
time period later half of 14th Century German.
I am looking for a raised bascinet and a three piece Great Helm (No Welding).
On the bascinet I am looking to get a lowprofile removable 'shovel' as seen in the effigies of
Johann Von Brandscheit 1400
Rudolf Von Sachsenhausen 1371
Graf Von Katzenelnbogen 1370

On the Great Helm
the Pembridge,
the Prankhe helm in the Kunsthistorisches Museum,
or even the Germanisches Nationalmuseum, Nürnberg would work great (unpainted). Made in 3 or 5 depending on the type. Your thoughts?

additional details can be worked out

Thanks all

We do not do raised helms. Only welded at this time. Other than that, I am sure we can make something that will look very much like any historical helm you decide upon.

Check Albert Collins' gallery on www.viaarmorari.com
There you'll find the most awesome bascinet/great helm combo I've ever seen. Albert does raise helmets and also works in high carbon steel on request.
