Halberds review: Sabatons

Post by Gryffinclaw »

Bisically let me say that I love them. Haberds made me a set of sabatons to complete my kit.

http://forums.armourarchive.org/phpBB2/ ... t=sabatons

Service: 5 of 5 We talked often and he asked questions to get the details correct.
Time: 5 of 5 Got them in less than 20 days start to finish. Hard to beat!
Quality: 5 of 5 Just look at them and see my writeup below.

I wore them around the house like slippers for most of the day that I recieved them. They work well and articulate smoothly for my feet. A difficult thing to achieve with big feet my size (13). I played with kneeling and they worked awesome for my style of fighting. For the side points that routed under the shoe sole, I ended up pointing directly to the shoe so that the sabaton would not flop side to side while I jumped around. This was NOT a problem, I just did not want to feel them on my feet so I secured them better. I do not even know they are there and the sabatons plus turnshoes wiegh less than my combat boots did.

Halberds you ROCK!
