Review "Lydushka's Completely Custom Creations"
G'day all,
I found Lyds on the Archive and was taken with the style of her gambisons and that they were adapted for SCA combat.
So I took the plunge and ordered a custom flitted 14th century gambison in a heavy blue cotton. Lyds asked me a great deal of questions about what *exactly* I wanted along with detailed measurments.
Communication was superb and all my e-mails were answered promply with clear details and humor!
Within the advised delivery time (with a tiny delay while Lyds cranked out some Royal garb (well they *are* more important than me)) my box arrived from the states and I found my gambison tucked inside and the fit is frankly superb! It slips on easy, fits like a glove and has superb range of movement to the point where you can put your arm all the way over your head at maximum extention and the waist of the gambison hardly lifts at all, Incredible!!!
I have no quarms whatsoever to say that I would recomend Lyds to anyone who was in need of top quality soft kit!
So gambison 5x5x5 superb in every way shape and firm.
I was so impressed that I immediatly contacted Lyds again to order a
brigendine shell, combat hose and another gambison.

I love this lady, she sees my review on here and sends me an e-mail to say thanks rather than bumping the thread in her favor...
Now that's class!
AND she tells me my combat hose are done already and that's she's working on my brigendine shell already, that's after less than a week!
Seriously Ladies and gents go look at her pics and website

She offers five different styles of gambesons, ranging from $200-$300.
Prices and more information are listed on her website:

Respectfully in service,

Hey Sarge,
No problem with asking it was one of the first questions to cross my mind as well....
Follow the link to Lyds website, click "products" and select each item in turn and each one has the price listed at the top...
The going US dollar price is about $275 for the style that i ordered.
That includes the porepoints, the alternate layering for the yoke area and the single layer for the mid section.
