Report from the Highland Games II

Howdy!

The pictures are at:

Highland Games II put on by the Shire of Ffynnon Gath was a wonderful experience, and unfortunately I only had 27 exposures on my little disposable camera(and they ran out quickly)!

It all started when Bill and Norhalla (www.armourworks.com) drove down to San Antonio and picked me up, and after a short tour of a wonderful Mexican restaurant, proceeded on to the Shire of Ffynnon Gath.

Once there, we took a wrong turn after passing troll. We were told to “just follow the fenceâ€

I got this in an e-mail from Stoffel:

"Unfortunatly I won't be fighting for awhile, I sold that last suit of armour(my grandmother bought it from me), and wont be able to make myself a new set before I move
into the apartment. "

Now, just envision if you will, a GRANDMOTHER in that suit...."I dun TOLD you kids to keep dat noise down...you don't want me to mount my horse and come down there, do ya?"

Yes, that event was quite fun! Its nice to meet other people from the archive, other than Aaron, I've only met Morgan and Ulsted. I hope I have armour come next year, for this event. Ffynnon Gath really knows how to have a good time.
