Review: Lydushka's Completely Custom Creations

Post by talaananthes »

Wow. I have nothing but the best to say about her. I sent her crappy starting materials and a crappy job, with a time frame somewhere between demanding and ridiculous, and she produced an amazing product for me with a turnaround that would make Wal Mart blush, at a price lower than anything else I've ever seen for this quality of crafts(wo)manship.

Send her your business. You will not be disappointed.

Price--5
Quality--5
Shipping Time--11 (I know the scale only goes to 5. Seriously, though, this one goes to 11. 24 hour turn around time for custom garb is unheard of, but she was willing and able to do so.)
Communication--5
Overall Experience--5

Somewhat associated rant:

The only thing at all I have bad to say about the transaction are my frustrations at the USPS for taking 5 days (for Priority Mail!) to deliver the materials to her, as well as opening the package and erasing the music CD I sent along.

USPS does not get a 5x5, and certainly not an 11 on anything. But hey, it's government work, what did you expect?

I have opinions of my own- strong opinions- but I don't always agree with them.

Don't have any yet.

I'm not very camera friendly.

I don't even own a camera.

To give more detail, I sent her a couple pairs of old 100% worsted wool suit pants (about 10 sizes too large for me) that I picked up at Goodwill and she turned them into trews that fit me.

Ditto!

Lyds is superb, buy stuff from her! I did and it made me grin....(:

so far I have one of her gambisons and I'm waiting for a set of battle hose and a brigendine shell.....

I already reviewed the gambison here - http://forums.armourarchive.org/phpBB2/ ... highlight=

And will do the other review as soon as I get them...
