FS: A few 14th century items
Ive decided to move my persona froward a couple hundred years so its time to clean out the armour box.

Windrose bascinet: Sized to fit a 22.5-23" head, mild steel, fixed bar grill, Knuut welded aventail mounted high on the helmet to give the illusion of a short early period helmet. Without a doubt the finest helmet I have owned to date. $300.00 + shipping.

Corrazina1 : Spring steel covered in red brocade, its a little big on me (32" waist, 34" hips, 37" chest) so I think would be best for someone a bit bigger. $350.00
HE linen Kirtle, size small: $50.00

HE linen G39 gown, size small: $80.00

I'll add a few more items and some pictures once I'm home from work,
Thanks for looking.
John

Why do people who are shaped like twigs become the only people to sell their old armor?
I would have bought that corazzina if it fit a 38 waist and a 54 inch chest even 36 inch waist.
If you want to sell your sword fittings I'll buy them. I would get the scabbard but I have a vitus made one already.

This is my sword. There are many like it, but this one is mine. My sword is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I master my life. My sword, without me, is useless. Without my sword, I am useless.

Apologies for the slight hijack- I am re-selling the sword belt (but no scabbard) here:
http://forums.armourarchive.org/phpBB2/ ... 07#1765207
I'm right-handed and the belt is for a leftie. This should in no way reflect on John- it was a mutual oversight and he did offer me a refund, but I liked the scabbard so much I decided to keep it and remake the belt in mirror image.

I sent a PM on Wed Aug 04, 2010 7:31 pm asking about both dresses and have not heard back. It is still in my "outbox", not in my "sent items".
