ISO canvas

Post by Gottfried »

I am looking to sew myself a new tent. The canvas supplier that had used for my last tent dose not exist anymore.
I was wondering if anyone here knows of some reputable sorces that ship to an APO address.

thanks
Gottfried

Get hold of itex in Colorado. I think their website is called Banwear.

The e-mail that I have is Bshaver (at) banwear.com

They manufacture the sunforger marine boatshrunk canvas that is the gold standard for SCA tent making. Pre-shrunk, waterproofed, mold and mildew treated.

Most places on the net sell it for $5-6/yard.

Itex has end rolls that they sell for reduced prices- only problem is that you have to buy the whole roll.

I got 2 rolls of the natural color for a total of about 110 yards for $1.85/yard.

Gottfried,

It has been far too long my friend. When I lived down the road from you, I emailed back and for with http://www.midwesttent.com/catalog/ asking questions about shipping one of their premade tents. While I decided not to order the tent, they did quote me shipping rates and were willing to ship to APO's. They might be a route worth looking into in case Dauyd's suggestion does not pan out.

Bless you Dauyd.

I have searched without any luck whatsoever to figure out who is the manufacturer of Sunforger for an age.

You. Rock.

You can get Sunforger from these folks whom I've dealt with before .

and I believe Panther might also sell it. Of course they are all in the US

cheers
